Michael Cashion CEO

"Mr. Absolute"
As CouponMob CEO, Michael Cashion oversees the big picture, often sketched out in elaborately scribbled diagrams on a giant whiteboard facing his desk. He's the visionary who sets and executes strategic, operational and revenue goals. A veteran in the online performance-marketing space, Cashion has founded several industry-leading businesses. In addition to CouponMob, he is also a co-founder and president of Flypaper Media Holdings, LLC, the holding company for CouponMob, as well as its sibling companies: PartnerData and LFM Network. Today Flypaper's businesses have working relationships with more than 250 national retailers and merchants, linking them with millions of high-quality customers.

Cashion's startup experience dates back to 1995. Fresh out of Southern Methodist University with a B.S. in Economics, he worked in the healthcare and insurance industries before he helped create telecommunications startup T3. A year later, The Signature Group, an $800 million direct-marketing firm, acquired T3, installing Cashion as vice president of Signature's new business unit.

In 1998, Cashion became vice president of business development at Performics, an Internet performance-marketing firm that had launched that year. By the end of his tenure, the firm had more than 100 employees, 50 clients and about $9 million in venture capital. Performics was acquired by DoubleClick in 2004, and then subsequently by Google.
